About the TV serial “Brideshead Revisited”
About Evelyn Waugh

**** (4 out of 5)

This is a well acted and very interesting interpretation of the 1945 classic novel by British author Evelyn Waugh.  It is the poignant story of a man in a love triangle with a brother and sister.  So sad.

It also reveals different flavors of selfishness and the dominance of a higher faith, Catholicism.

Emma Thompson and Ben Whishaw are completely believable as, respectively, the be-yotch mother Lady Marchmain and her tortured homosexual son Sebastian.
