Jean M. Mosher

I’m Jean Mosher.

I am a software engineer who has consulted to AT&T; Burns, Doane, Swecker & Mathis; Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC); Georgetown University Medical Center; Gershman, Brickner & Bratton; Heritage Reporting Corporation; Heron, Burchette, Ruckert & Rothwell; Hogan & Hartson; Hopkins, Sutter, Hamel & Park; International Insurance Council; Johnson, Bassin & Shaw; MCI; National Congress of American Indians; Property & Casualty Insurance Guaranty Fund; Rubbermaid; Snyder Communications; Veterans Administration; WinStar; and other organizations.

Most recently I am working with .NET (C# and Visual Basic), PHP, SharePoint, AJAX, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL. In the past I have programmed in C, Visual Basic, classic ASP, Paradox, and Tuxedo OLTP. I have worked in UNIX and Microsoft environments, usually with n-tier architectures.

I am a member of Toastmasters International, Women in Technology, and the National Association of Female Executives.

Above all, I’m a real “people person.” I really enjoy spending time with friends. You can usually find me every day on the elliptical at Sport & Health. I also enjoy drawing, painting, all types of music, nature, and exploring beaches. I have been practicing Vipassana meditation for eleven years.

I’m at Facebook — search for “Jean Mosher.”

My MySpace presence is at http://www.myspace.com/jeanmosher.

    • Can't believe I just bought a SECOND air card. In Cornwall, CT, neither my cell phone nor my air card worked! I felt so cut off. 2 months ago
    • Many of nature's creatures -- birds, chipmunks, squirrels, and raccoons -- greatly appreciate peanut butter, peanuts, and marshmallows. 3 months ago
    • Aljazeera didn't come in this morning. Bummer. They report more news from the under-reported countries -- the developing world. 3 months ago
    • Love Aljazeera. Heard an interesting documentary by a woman who grew up with an Indian father and a mother originally from Australia. 3 months ago
    • I have come to terms with the raccoons. I feed them and they leave my bird feeders alone. Some might think the raccoons won. 4 months ago
